And he works with a branding and advertising company called the Concept Farm that produces his TV commercials. Its owners once worked for him at the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency.

Why the Bank of New York is Cool In Your Code

The Bank of New York currently sponsors Cool in Your Code, a local cable TV program that runs weekly during a 12-week season on two New York City-operated channels on the Time Warner cable system. Created and produced by the bank’s agency of record, The Concept Farm, each of the series’ eight segments per season show viewers different cultural, shopping and eating possibilities in a specific neighborhood — or Zip Code, hence the “code” in the show’s title.

ESPN Creates Documentary From Marketing Campaign

ESPN has turned a marketing campaign into a half-hour documentary that explores the culture of the sports fan. “Home and Away” will showcase interviews of some of the most hard-core sports fans across the U.S. ESPN produced the special in conjunction with The Concept Farm, an independent agency in New York. Indie shop Wieden + Kennedy, based in Portland, Ore., also works on ads for ESPN.

Starting June 8, ESPN is kicking off ESPN25 — the network’s 25th Anniversary celebration, which has been dubbed “The Season of the Fan.” The summer-long event will feature special programming with a big focus on fandom, thanks — in large part — to New York creative/production boutique The Concept Farm.

Fans Star in Concept Farm’s ESPN Ads

The Concept Farm launched a 30-second teaser spot on May 9 that pictures individual fans in various settings to the tune of Queen’s rock anthem, “We Are the Champions.” An onscreen super says the “season” begins June 8.

Concept Farm Launches Production Arm

New York creative/production hybrid The Concept Farm has announced the launch of a dedicated production division, the Production Farm, to handle projects for outside agencies and other clients. the farmers have long shot their own spots for clients that include ESPN and the History Channel International. The agency’s “In Case You Missed It” campaign for the latter earned a Gold Pencil at the 2002 One Show.
